Welcome to the Battletoads Wiki, the wiki that is devoted to the Battletoads games that anyone can edit. The first game, Battletoads had amazing graphics for its time and featured stages that were unique in their own way. It also had an insane difficulty, which made the game addicting and well-known. The franchise was originally created by The Pawn Stars, the co-formers of Rare. Rare is a video game company famous for Goldeneye, Conker, Banjo Kazooie & Banjo Tooie, and the best-known of all is the Donkey Kong Country games. Rare has developed several games for the NES, Gameboy, SNES, and the Nintendo 64. The company is currently making games for Nintendo DS and for Xbox 360 ever since it was bought by Microsoft in 2003.
