Raven

Raven is a recurring enemy from the Battletoads series, appearing in the original Battletoads, as well as the Game Boy game and Battletoads & Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team.

Details[]

Ravens are bird enemies which appear on the vertical shaft levels. They stand in place until the player gets close, at which point they fly out and attack by swooping down. Once they're hit they can be continually juggled for extra points and lives.

A mutant variation of the Ravens with a larger beak will also show up. These will fly from the bottom and move forward to snap the Turbo Cables of the toads, causing the player to instantly lose a life. Once hit their beak can be picked up and used as a weapon.
